Nobody wants to go through isolation. Whether it is a God-induced isolation or an isolation based on your situation where people give up on you and leave you for dead, we can all agree that isolation does not feel good. But can I tell you that isolation (when ordained by God) is necessary for who is He is calling you to be.

Isolation is that stage in the preserving greatness when the Lord pulls you away from the crowd to prune you. Many times most of us get so used to the noise of others opinions that we have forgotten the importance of God's desires for us. We are so used to the applause of others that sometimes our motives no longer derive from a place of authenticity but from outcome. Because the Lord wants us to remain pure, He will sometimes pull us away to redirect us back to what matters.
