Why Amaterasu Hid the Sun — For Deep Sleep

Tonight, drift into the world of Amaterasu, told slowly and softly so your mind can let go.

In tonight's episode: the radiant goddess of the sun and her place at the heart of Japanese mythology; the quarrel that drove her into the darkness of the rock cave; the world left cold and dimmed without her light; and the gentle, joyful gathering that coaxed her back to the sky.

Welcome to The Oracle's Rest, where slow, soothing narrations of mythology, ancient history, and timeless philosophy quiet your mind and carry you into deep, restful sleep.

So get comfortable, close your eyes, and let your thoughts wander into the dark. 🌙

If The Oracle's Rest helps you sleep, follow the show so there's always a new one waiting. New episodes every week. Sweet dreams.
