Episode notes
In John 8, Jesus encounters a woman brought before him by religious leaders and accused of adultery. In this sermon we sit with this complicated and often-debated story, paying attention to the questions it raises about accusation, judgment, religious power, grace, and the ways we see one another. What might we notice differently when we stop watching the story from the crowd and begin seeing it from where Jesus sits?
