A Promise of Hope in a Season of Despair: Micah 5: 1-15

In Micah 5:1–15, God speaks hope into a time of fear, defeat, and uncertainty. From the small town of Bethlehem, the Lord promises a ruler whose greatness will reach to the ends of the earth, a Shepherd-King who will bring security and peace to His people. In this episode, we explore how this prophecy points to Jesus Christ, the promised King who gathers His people, defeats their enemies, and purifies them from every false source of strength. Micah reminds us that lasting peace is not found in power, possessions, or human ability, but in the presence and rule of Christ. Join us as we consider what it means to trust the King who came from Bethlehem and whose kingdom will never end.

The Relentless Pursuit: Hosea 1-3

In Hosea 1–3, God uses the prophet's own marriage to reveal the heartbreaking reality of Israel's unfaithfulness and the astonishing depth of His covenant love. Though His people have run after other gods, the Lord refuses to abandon them. Instead, He disciplines, pursues, and ultimately promises restoration. This sermon explores the themes of spiritual adultery, God's holy justice, and His relentless grace, pointing us to Jesus Christ, the faithful Bridegroom who redeems His wayward bride. Join us as we discover that God's love is greater than our sin, His mercy triumphs over judgment, and His covenant faithfulness never fails.

Through the prophet Malachi, the Lord rebukes His people for offering blemished sacrifices and treating worship as a burden rather than a privilege. Beneath their outward actions lay a deeper issue of the heart, a failure to honor and treasure God as the great King He is. This passage challenges us to examine whether our worship has become routine, divided, or merely convenient. Join us as we consider God’s call to sincere devotion and are reminded that He is worthy not of our leftovers, but of our wholehearted love, honor, and worship.

God steps in, not because His people deserve it, but for the sake of His holy name. He promises cleansing from sin, a new heart, and a new spirit, transforming His people from the inside out. This passage reminds us that restoration isn’t something we achieve; it’s something God accomplishes by His grace. Where sin brings defilement and destruction, God brings renewal, life, and hope. Join us as we reflect on the depth of our need, the power of God’s mercy, and the beauty of His promise to make all things new.
