Episode notes
In Joel 2:28–32, God promises to pour out His Spirit on all His people, sons and daughters, young and old, servants and leaders. This promise points forward to Pentecost and reveals God’s desire to dwell with His people and empower them to bear witness to His saving grace. In this episode, we explore how the coming of the Holy Spirit fulfills God’s promise, breaks down human barriers, and equips ordinary people for extraordinary gospel ministry. Joel also reminds us that the day of the Lord brings both judgment and salvation, and that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Join us as we consider the God who comes down, pours out His Spirit, and calls His people to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ.
