Confidence In Christ: Our Sufficiency and Strength in the Work of Ministry: 2 Corinthians 3: 1-6
Confidence in Christ: Our Sufficiency and Strength in the Work of Ministry La Gran Comisión — Plenary Session 1 | Hispanic Ministries Conference | Richmond, Virginia | March 10, 2026 In this plenary session from the National Hispanic Ministries Conference of the Presbyterian Church in America, Rev. Alex Diaz opens 2 Corinthians 3:1–6 to explore the foundation of faithful gospel ministry: confidence in Christ alone. Ministry is not sustained by human ability, credentials, strategies, or strength, but by the sufficiency of Jesus Christ and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. Drawing from Paul’s reminder that “our sufficiency is from God,” this message calls pastors, ministry leaders, and believers to embrace a Christ-centered vision of service marked by humility, dependence, and faithfulness. In a world that often measures success by visible results, this lecture points ministers back to the true source of strength, the Lord who calls, equips, and transforms His people for the work of the gospel. Join Rev. Alex Diaz for a theological and pastoral reflection on what it means to serve with confidence, knowing that Christ is sufficient for the work He has entrusted to His church.
