In today’s episode, we’re sitting down with George Brauchler—the District Attorney for Colorado’s new 23rd Judicial District, which serves Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln Counties. With a career spanning over 30 years, George has been a trailblazer in law enforcement, from his time as a Colonel in the Army and an Iraq War Veteran, to his work as a former DA for the 18th Judicial District. Known for his “tough on crime” stance and his relentless advocacy for victims’ rights, George has handled some of Colorado's most high-profile cases, including the Columbine, Aurora Theater, and STEM School shootings.
