No Single Number This Time: The 5 EEF Recommendations for Early Maths
Episode notes
No headline number this time — EEF's early-maths guidance report doesn't carry one. Instead, five recommendations for ages 3–7, and a Reception teacher and a Year 1 teacher work out why some children arrive at their first timetabled maths lesson already fluent and others don't: it isn't talent, it's whether maths showed up outside the lesson block too.
