Episode notes
Sign Special — ELDRIN · February 11 – March 2
ELDRIN · The Labradorite Sign · February 11 – March 2
A special edition of The Dog You Chose. Most mornings, The Daily Companion reads all eighteen Companion Signs and moves briskly along — but every sign in the wheel deserves a portrait of its own, and this series takes them one at a time, in the order of the year.
Benedetto opens the paper from Gulfport, Florida. Violetta paints the full Eldrin portrait: the Observer of the pack, a dog running on the Watch instinct and the Labradorite's mood of Quiet Insight — thoughtful, observant, and famous for noticing the details everyone else missed. Its motto: "Let me think about that." Its habitat: the Library. Its warning, delivered kindly: beware of missing the obvious while studying the details. And the portrait closes with the sign's lesson — trust your instincts, and let one decision be made on instinct alone.
A musical break from the author's own notebook: 'Taste of Your Strawberries.'
Eldrin's readings run in the daily paper through March 2; on March 3 the wheel turns to Noctra. Find your dog's sign at dogyouchose.com. From The Companion Signs by Nick A. Shishkov — the first horoscope ever written for dogs.
