Episode notes
TALORIN · The Aquamarine Sign · September 23 – October 12
A special edition of The Dog You Chose. Most mornings, The Daily Companion reads all eighteen Companion Signs and moves briskly along — but Talorin's season is in its final days, and the sign has earned a portrait of its own before the wheel turns.
Benedetto opens the paper from Gulfport, Florida. Violetta paints the full Talorin portrait: the Connector of the pack, the Messenger, a dog running on the Play instinct and the Aquamarine's mood of Social Ease — the dog who makes a friend standing in any line, knows absolutely everyone, and has finished a conversation with almost none of them. Its motto: "I know a guy." Its habitat: the Busy Café. Its warning, delivered kindly: do not collect contacts instead of friends. And with five days of the season left, the portrait closes with what a Talorin dog should do with them — spend the charm, slowly, and turn one contact into a friend.
Two musical breaks from the author's own notebook: an untitled country piece, and 'The Hands Arrive.'
Talorin's readings run in the daily paper through October 12; on October 13 the wheel turns to Bryor. Find your dog's sign at dogyouchose.com. From The Companion Signs by Nick A. Shishkov — the first horoscope ever written for dogs.
