Fundada en 2010, la Estación Biológica Manu protege cerca de 9.000 acres de bosques tropicales en la zona de amortiguamiento del Parque Nacional del Manu en Perú. La organización peruana sin fines de lucro Conservación Amazónica desarrolla proyectos de investigación, restauración y turismo ecológico en esta una de las áreas más biodiversas del planeta.
