Episode 5 — The Dave Montana Show
Dave has a lot to say about passion, addiction, and a man who apparently loves sniffing butts enough to keep going to jail for it.
He talks about sobriety, his old drinking and drug days, why your enemies getting fat can be strangely disappointing, and the importance of telling people when they suck at something.
Young comedians. Old comedians. Free labor. The inevitable transformation of the young comic into the older comic he used to complain about.
Dave explains “riding the walrus.” He defends Creed. He defends Family Guy. He investigates the suspicious motives of an old woman who writes a check at the grocery store.
There are thoughts on friendship, clout, cocaine, criticism, recovery, and why most people probably aren’t as good at what they do as they think they are.
The episode ends with Flock cameras, where Dave arrives at a very reasonable position.
