Stewardship is not an institutional fundraising campaign, a budget quota, or a ledger of tithes and offerings. It begins with grace—Christ becoming poor so we might become rich. It is entirely possible to fill an offering plate while withholding our hearts, funding evangelism across the globe while remaining stingy with compassion, forgiveness, and time next door. God never places resources, gifts, or influence into our hands to stop with us. True stewardship is not merely learning how to give what we have; it is learning to give ourselves.
