Bagpipes were used in battle for centuries, Scottish Highland Regiments would use them to boost morale and intimidate enemies.

A true weapon of war!

Fast forward to the modern day and us Scots no longer run into battle wielding swords and daggers.

We are no longer wrapped in the tartan of our clan but when we want to send shivers down spines and to be heard…the pipes lead the way.

On the 24th and 25th of September those pipes will echo once again as my next guest marches into The Barrowland Ballroom to go to battle with not ONE sold out show but TWO sold out shows! No bad for a boy who started in a Linoleum factory eh?
