Who is the Rock on which you stand? Today in Deuteronomy, Moses recites a song that God commanded him to teach Israel—a lyrical masterpiece that celebrates God’s faithfulness while warning against the "crooked and twisted" path of idolatry. In the Gospel of Luke, we see that the "Rock" has arrived in Jerusalem. Jesus cleanses the Temple of its corruption and stands His ground against the chief priests and scribes, answering their questions about authority and taxes with divine wisdom that leaves His enemies speechless.
