Pen or Plank?

"And now, which will it be? The pen or the plank?" - Captain Hook (Disney's Peter Pan, 1953) 1 Corinthians 10:13 says in the Bible, we all experience times of testing, which is normal for every human being. But God will be faithful to you. He will screen and filter the severity, nature, and timing of every test or trial you face so that you can bear it. And each test is an opportunity to trust Him more, for along with every trial God has provided for you a way of escape that will bring you out of it victoriously. (TPT) Prayer of Faith: Jehovah Jireh, thank You for being faithful and for never allowing us to face more than we can bear. When temptation comes, remind everyone listening that You are near and that You always provide a way out. Give us strength to choose what is right, courage to walk in obedience, and trust in Your guiding hand. Help us stand firm and live each day in Your power. In Jesus’ name, Amen. An Ever-Present Perspective

“You know what I'm craving? A little perspective. That’s it. I’d like some fresh, clear, well-seasoned perspective.” - Anton Ego (Disney/Pixar's Ratatouille) Romans 12:2 says in the Bible, don't imitate the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His eyes. (TPT). Prayer of Faith: God, I pray over everyone listening right now. Renew our minds by Your truth. Help us not to conform to the patterns of this world, but to be transformed by Your Spirit. Align our thoughts with Your will, so we may walk in what is good, pleasing, and perfect in Your sight. In Jesus’ name, amen. (TPT). Prayer of Faith: Dear Lord, I speak Your truth over everyone listening right now. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I ask that every trace of fear, anxiety, and doubt be broken in Jesus’ name. Fill hearts with holy boldness, steady minds with Your peace, and lives with courageous love.
