TCU’s 3 Whysmen

TCU’s 3 Whysmen

by The 3 Whysmen
Season 1

Moving on from Football

It's that time of year. Horned Frogs football is over and done, and now it is time to fully shift focus to Horned Frogs basketball. Before we do that, though, all 3 Whysmen are BACK to talk about the final game of the football season against Oklahoma. The guys dig into what they saw from the team, as well as talked about what they can expect for the offseason. We give out our final awards for the year, and make our last football picks of the season. Then, it's a quick check around TCU before fully focusing on basketball. TCU destroyed Alcorn St at home last week, but didn't play all that well. Jacob and Barrett break down how they did it, and what they need to fix to be more successful in the Big12. Focus then shifts to a bad Houston Christian team, and a Georgetown team that has the potential to surprise in some games this season. Lastly, the most prestigious power rankings that have ever been created are unveiled, as the guys look at what is going on around the Big12.

TCU vs OU: Barrett Survived Aids!

Barrett. Is. Back. In this final episode for the college football regular season. Connor... disappeared instead. Barrett and Jacob talk about everything that happened in the Baylor game, and give out their second to last awards of the season. Barrett gives a quick rundown of what Frog fans should expect to see against OU next week, and then the guys make their picks for the week. In terms of picks... Connor has no picks this week. But that doesn't really matter points-wise, sinccec he's so far behind anyway. Sucker. Barrett and Jacob then switch gears to Basketball, going over the UTRGV and MSVST games this past week, and they look forward to the upcoming Alcorn State Game. The episode ends with the very first edition of the TCU's 3 Whysmen Big12 Basketball Power Rankings, and we get to hear the guys' thoughts about what has happened in the first 2 weeks of the season.

TCU v Baylol: The Revivalry

2 out of 3 ain't bad, and thats what we have on a special episode of the 3 Whysmen, where Barrett is not able to join because of... reasons. Instead, Connor and Jacob take over as they review the UT game and hand out awards, and look forward towards the REVIVALRY this week against Baylol. Not some dumb Blue Bonnet Circle name. Connor reviews what happened around TCU during the week, and Jacob looks into TCU's basketball game against Omaha, and their upcoming games against UTRGV and Mississippi Valley St. Lastly, the geniuses make their predictions on how the Big12 will play out this season. If you're a betting man, I'd listen to what they have to say, so that you can literally print your own money.

Roundball Review: TCU vs Southern

Jacob takes a look into the players and plays that led TCU to the win against Southern, 108-75 in their season opener on Monday night.

BASKETBALL IS HERE!!!!!!!!

For the Whysmen, football season is largely a thing of the past. It is BASKETBALL TIME!!!!!!!! The guys still give out their awards for the game against Tech... it was difficult to decide on the good ones. Barrett then breaks down UT, before the guys make their picks for the week. Then, it is time to take ball. TCU plays 2 games this week, one against Southern, and the other against Omaha. Spoiler: both should be blowouts. After breaking down both teams, we get a little bit of a preview into the Big12 for the season.

Roundball Review: TCU vs Texas Wesleyan

TCU destroyed Texas Wesleyan on Monday night in their final scrimmage of the offseason. In a beta run of "Roundball Review", Jacob takes TCU fans on a review of what happened during the game last night.

TCU v Tech: Bad-le for the Saddle

TCU DID NOT LOSE LAST WEEK!!!!!! We went undefeated against Bye Week, and with that, the boys had nothing bad to say about our football team. Instead, they take a look at what happened with the other TCU teams (1: 15) before turning to look at the TCU basketball scrimmage taking place Monday night against Texas Wesleyan (2:39). Jacob gives a small breakdown of what we should expect against TWU, and turns it over to Barrett to give an insight into the new faces on the team. The Frogs take on the Technical University of Texas this week in a Thursday night showdown in Lobbock (24:38). Connor promises to get into a fight, and use Tech's own tortillas against them while Jacob and Barrett break down individual players, as well as schemes that fans need to be on the lookout for as the Frogs hope to get back into the win column this week. Lastly, we make our picks for the week, before turning it over to Connor for his advice on how to print your money (36:06).

Bye Bye Bye Week

The bye week could not have come at a better time. Your 3 favorite geniuses take a break from discussing TCU football this week, and turn to other sports that are going on, or about to start. First, Jacob and Barrett discuss everything TCU Volleyball, before turning to the women's soccer team. Jacob takes a look at a men's tennis player who is having success in the professional ranks, and the individual fall tournaments for TCU Men's Tennis. Lastly, Barrett deep dives into TCU Basketball, which is only a couple of weeks away!! As always, the guys finish the episode with their picks for the week.

TCU vs KSU: Nobody Does It Like Hoover

Nobody does it like Hoover. This episode, the Whysmen reflect on what the heck happened last week against BYU. This was a completely different TCU football team that was displayed on Saturday. Not much went wrong, and a heckuva lot went right for the Frogs. From the defense to the special teams to the offense, Barrett, Jacob, and Connor take a deep dive into the game and hand out their awards. The attention then turns to next week. Who are we playing? Who is their Quarterback? Does Kansas even exist? These questions are all answered by the guys as Jacob takes a look into KSU's players, and Barrett breaks down KSU's schemes. Lastly, we look back around the Big12, and make our picks for next week's games. Hint: Jacob will continue to try and reverse-jinx the TCU game. Go Frogs!!!

TCU vs BYU: The Hoover Dam vs the Mormon Brigade

TCU is bad. How bad? Find out this week on TCU's 3 Whysmen! The boys recap TCU's loss to ISU and look at what went wrong, and it was a LOT. They give out their awards, and then turn the page to look ahead to Young Brigham University... er, Brigham Young University. Jacob details out some key players, while Barrett dives into scheme. Jacob asks the question: Have we seen the last of CHandler Morris in a TCU uniform? Lastly, The Whysmen are joined by their 100th twitter follower! They break down what happened around the Big12, and make their picks for next week. Can Connor catch up?
