Season 1

26 || thank you so much for: the bermuda triangle?

something we ALWAYS think about right before the holidays is of course, the Bermuda Triangle. we’ve all heard of it, but why hasn’t anyone talked about the doom that lies beneath in a while? well, that’s what we found out in our research for this weeks episode! is it science? or is it some white dude inventing his own explanation out of thin air (literally)? thats for us to find out!

25 || thank you so much for: astral projection

It's kind of like if sleep paralysis meets sleepwalking meets teleportation. Makes sense? It didn't really make sense to us either so we dug a little deeper into the world of astral projection, or Out of Body experiences (OBE) as some people describe it. We're not really sure what to think but there are many a tale of frolicking the world consciously and "invisibly". Let's talk about it.

24 || thank you so much for: witchcraft II

Okay, friends. Our last episode was uploaded on Oct 31. It is now Nov 22. We’re well aware. We’ve been MIA and you know why??? It’s the damn daylight savings blues and we’re FEELING. IT. We haven’t stopped recording for you guys though and it’s about time we come back with an episode. While we were gone, you could maybe have seen us at the abode kindling the beginnings of our coven rituals. As you can see from the Instagram photo those are these hands practicing ✨magic✨. What better way to regain control when the world feels empty and meaningless? So yes, we’ve been dabbling in a little bit of the mag (pronounced madge, rhyming with vag, intentionally) and it’s working? Anyway, you can now listen to us explain a lil more about what we’re learning about in the world of the occult. Join us as we continue the saga of our baby witch journey. Also, we just decided season 2 starts in January. Tell us what you’d like to hear for season 2??

22 || thank you so much for: HORROR

ever thought about how independent horror films are made? a girl in a cheerleader uniform gets chopped in half. a group of teenagers breaking into their school at night get plucked one by one and slaughtered by a monster with a chainsaw. how do they get it to look real? where do they find people who are willing to be dismembered on camera? how does one make a fake pig mask? and how the hell do they fund it? our friend Missy—producer, director, and pig girl for a slew of independent horror films shot in the 2010s—comes on and tells all. she answers these questions and more. we've got some craaazy kills to talk about. stay tuned to the end to listen to a fun conversation game. 21 || thank you so much for: tarot

Most of us know by now it isn't an evil deck of cards with intentions of cursing those who dare to handle them. They've been used by occultists and lay people alike for centuries all over the world and for many different purposes. Listen to us dip our toes into the magical world of tarot. We talk a little bit o lore and a little bit o what these cards mean and end with giving each other some readings. Be sure to stay tuned to the very end for a spooky story.References:Llewellyn's Complete Book of Tarot: A Comprehensive GuideThe Modern Witchcraft Book of Tarot: Your Complete Guide to Understanding the Tarot

20 || thank you so much for: witchcraft

boil boil toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble! the witch as we see her in media is a decrepit, ugly, hunchback lady with a crooked, warty nose who eats children and conjures evil spells. but that isn’t all true, and we’re here to talk about it! we blame the patriarchy for painting witchcraft in a negative light. as we kick off the first episode of spooky season, we dive into all things witchcraft including the history, starting a coven, and why witchy girlie pops always get a bad rep. sit back, cast your favorite spell, and join us as we get spooky. plus! don’t miss the creepy story at the end from one of our listeners! happy spooktober!! 🎃Source Links:Witchy history

19 || thank you so much for: astrology

If you're in LA, if you're in your 20's or 30's and especially if you are those two things and ALSO queer you've been around a fair amount of astrology talk. Mercury retrograde. The big three. Planets in houses. We must confess in light of this, we still have to look up our Sun/Moon/Rising sometimes. That's where our special guest comes in. Listen to our interview with our friend Elizabeth Tzagournis, who spent much of the pandemic researching and learning the ins and outs of astrology. We talk planets, we talk houses, we talk retrogrades, and we also get a little reading of our own.
