Teacher Career Change (Teaching to Healthcare) Transition Plan Step 1. Healthcare careers for teachers

A teacher career change can be one of the most scary, yet rewarding, aspects of your career. Transitioning from teaching to healthcare can be a seamless transition for some teachers. For others, it may require going back to school to get credentials and additional training. Sometimes, it can cost thousands of dollars for training or a new degree. Before you make that switch, it is time to inventory your existing skills, likes and dislikes about teaching. Maybe you are right where you need to be (education-wise) but just need out of the classroom? So grab a pen and paper because we will need it for today's exercise. Workshops, for transitioning teachers, are constantly being added. Please check here for more information. This podcast is brought to you by Classes for Caregivers.
