Did you know we have our own Police Department?

Lancaster has its own Police Department now. Most don't realize this. It wasn't brought to a community vote. There was little public discussion on this. Our Tax dollars are being spent on a Police Force we knew little about and without public discussion or vote. Is this a good thing?
