Lift Every Voice: God of Our Weary Years and Our Silent Tear

Last Sunday, our Worship Director, Chris Jacobson-Chism, provided a profound insight into the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” In the third verse, titled “God of Our Weary Years,” Chris illuminated the significance of the anthem, urging us not only to stand in solidarity against injustice but also to take action, even amidst our collective fatigue.

A Better Story: Week 2

This week, Pastor Scott shifted the focus slightly to acknowledge and address the pressing needs of the present. If you’ve been grappling with disappointment, fear, or despair, this week’s message isn’t a fix-all, but it might offer a glimmer of hope in a season and culture that often feels challenging to navigate.
Season 1

Unoffendable: Week 5

This week Pastor Scott wraps up our impactful Church Wide Journey Series, Unoffendable, challenging us to not live in a place of anger as we combat it with gratitude.

Meet Malawi With Melissa Keeble

This past summer, Melissa Keeble led another incredible group of travelers to visit our sister church in Malawi. This week, we dedicated time to celebrate and recognize the partnership and collaborative efforts that have been achieved over the past year. Melissa challenged us and offered a fresh perspective on what it looks like to welcome the stranger and the role we play on a daily basis.

Unoffendable Week 4

This week Dan Ryan continued our Church Wide Journey sermon series with a compelling message challenging us to dig deeper into letting go of those things that offend us.

Unoffendable Week 2

Week 2 of our Churchwide Journey Series with Pastor Scott Keeble.

Unoffendable Week 1

This week we kicked off our Churchwide Journey with a timely Sermon Series based on Brant Hansen's book, Unoffendable.

The Hardest Part: Week One with Pastor Scott

Holding on through the hard part knowing the good part is yet to come! Life is a strange and tender mix: Joy and sorry, love and loss, heartbreak and hope, all tangled together. We invite you to join us during the weeks leading up to Easter as we embrace Lent as it is: raw, honest, and tender. This Lenten season asks us to stop pretending we’re all good and acting like we’ve got it all together. Permission given to simply pause and sit with what’s fragile, unfinished, and difficult; and to let God meet you in the hardest parts of life

Unoffendable Week 3

This is Week 3 of our Churchwide Journey Series with Pastor Scott Keeble, unpacking Brant Hansen's book, Unoffendable.
