While Kendall spirals searching for a handmade gift from his children buried under mountains of celebrity presents, Roman forces his way into a VIP meeting with GoJo CEO Lukas Matsson and cracks open the acquisition negotiation Logan himself couldn't start — by offering to kill Waystar's own streaming service and positioning Logan as the liability. Shiv, cut out of Logan's buyout offer without being told, never gets near the room. Meanwhile, Logan privately reminds Tom that his near-prison ordeal has been logged as a debt owed.
This episode marks the pivot point for the season's central deal: Matsson goes from stonewalling Logan to agreeing to continue talks, entirely because Roman reframed his father as the obstacle.
