Tom's bachelor party is rerouted by Roman to an underground venue in New York, where Kendall arrives high and coerces his minder Greg into taking drugs, and Tom acts on a hall pass from Shiv without telling her. Stewy presents Kendall with a half-billion-dollar buyout offer from Sandy Furness; Kendall turns it down and proposes a hostile takeover with himself as CEO. Across town, Shiv manages a live Eavis interview on ATN that ends with Eavis publicly naming her as a campaign staffer — on Logan's own network. Logan responds with a dinner of veiled threats, Shiv walks out, and Marcia calls to say Logan won't attend the wedding.
This episode is the pivot where personal and corporate betrayals stop being theoretical. Kendall's takeover bid moves from grievance to active strategy, Shiv's double loyalty becomes public record, and Logan begins using the wedding as leverage. The closing scene — Tom and Shiv reconnecting while both withholding the truth — shows how the Roy family's rules about power and silence have fully colonized their relationships.
