The Portland Timbers finished the regular season sweep of the Seattle Sounders, courtesy of a Brandon Bye winner. The tifo was excellent (and sent Brian Schmetzer into a crashout), the fish was gutted (also sending Brian Schmetzer into a crashout), and the Timbers notched two wins over the Sounders for the first time since 2022.
