GamerDude has always believed in God because of the way he was brought up, but his view of God (or whatever name you have for the Divine Power) has evolved and changed over the years.  He talks about how he was brought up to undertand that "God Is Love," and how that didn't necessarily jibe with all of the horrible things that actually happen in the world.
