What has your attention? In the opening message of Consider, Pastor Jason Smith looks at Psalm 8 and invites us to slow down long enough to see God, ourselves, and our circumstances with the right perspective. When we focus on the wrong things, our problems can become bigger than they really are and our sense of worth can begin to shrink. But when we consider the majesty of God, we discover the “right kind of small”—a humility that recognizes who God is alongside the incredible dignity and worth He has given us. Ultimately, the heavens remind us how small we are, while the cross reminds us how deeply we are loved.
