The Spaces recaps a busy SPS Weekly: the team pivoted Wednesday’s showcase from Wilder World to an improvised but highly engaging League of Legends session, co-casted by Oxman and Seta, sparking ideas for future 5v5 lobbies and potential tournaments. Lancer outlined the MOBA lineage from StarCraft’s Aeon of Strife through Warcraft III’s Dota to LoL, confirming LoL’s addition to the SPS showcase stack and a hope to feature Dota later.
Wilder World’s recent update increased performance demands but added features (compound, daily missions, weapon swap, vehicles, backpacks); SPS still plans “Wilder Wednesday” and a community acquisition of a mega-tower as an event when the primary caster returns. The Sunday main event launches a multi-month Star Wars Saga leading to Star Wars Galactic Racer (Oct 6): in Star Wars: The Old Republic, SPS converted an old guild to an Empire guild on Star Forge and built a tournament-ready Rishi stronghold featuring team deathmatch, Hutball, and a spectator cam; players can join even from the tutorial. Saturday features Marvel Rivals (5 PM UTC).
Next week includes SPS on Coffee with Captain (Thu) and the first GigaVerse AMA (Tue). The team also plans ApeFest engagement and continues tracking Star Atlas fixes for upcoming clashes.
