We start the podcast by not talking about soccer for about 18 minutes straight. We have breaking Jets news, lent diet updates, and more baseball talk because the Red Sox suck! (00:00-18:00) We finally get to soccer and we are back with the full Primer League coverage. Dom is extending his lead in the standings....... ANYWAY the Champions League returns with some quarterfinals action, which means City could be going home. We do our full quarterfinals breakdown and pick each game, both legs! A jack packed episode with an appearance by another one of Dom's famous weird noises! Listen in!
Baseball is back!!! But first we have to get sad about March Madness. Michigan finally lost, which means the guys are fully depressed when it comes to the basketball tournament. But Cj's mood is quickly turned around, when we start talking about Opening Day. We break down the Yankees and the Red Sox expectations going into the year, as well as our expectations for the season as a whole! Spring is in the air and its officially baseball season!
Dom checks out of the episode after Elijah plays some triggering audio from Manchester United fans, but he comes back eventually. The guys go over the international break, and there are few upsets early on, but like 12 mores games to play so we will circle back around to it. We breakdown some upcoming Premier League games as it is back this week, including some Champions League implication matches this weekend. In the "What's on your mind" (title pending) segment the guys talk about their upcoming Spikeball tournament in a couple weeks and get ready for some baseball!! Who's excited??? Not Dom. This week Dom is in shambles again after a crushing Man United defeat in the FA Cup quarterfinals. Meanwhile Elijah is on cloud 9 after City wins yet again and now go up against Chelsea in the semis of the FA Cup. We go around the soccer world and break down major news stories of the week, from United and Juve falling apart (sorry Dom), to Suarez scoring his 500th goal, and can anyone hope to stop Bayern Munich? (00:00-37:15) Then we get into our segment of "What's on your mind?" (working title). The guys lament over Tennessee and UNC losing, and their brackets as a whole. We talk about the first half of the season in King's Canyon and the upcoming second half of the season in Olympus. Andrew Bub joins the podcast, and the guys do their long awaited Mandalorian season 2 review. We break down every episode, our favorite moments, predictions for the future and overall geek out over Star Wars. (0:00-50:49) Then we switch over to the new Marvel TV show WandaVision. We break down each episode and touch on our favorite moments from the show. We talk about the direction of the MCU going forward, and our expectations for MCU shows that are going to come out. We were going to put the new segment at the end of the podcast but couldn't wait that long. "What's on Your Mind?" (working title) is a segment where we break out of the world of soccer is discuss whatever is on our mind, true to the 'N Stuff nature of the brand. This week Dom gets angry about the Jets and their free agent plans, we discuss heart break in sports, are pickles overrated or underrated, and talk about the Battle Royale format in video games. We then break down some Premier League action, upcoming Champions League and Europa League fixtures as both of our teams are in play this week, talk heartbreaking soccer moments, transfer talk and more! A jam packed episode that you don't want to miss!
There's a sports storm coming.. and we are just a week away. NFL free agency, NCAA tournament and baseball will all be here before you know it. BUT first we do have sports from this past week. Obviously, we cover NHL power rankings, some XFL news, Meyers Leonard controversy, an actually fun NBA All Star game and MORE. MANCHESTER IS RED AND DOM IS EXCITED ABOUT SOCCER AGAIN! Man City's lead has now dwindled down to only 11 points! And they didn't even reach a 22 match win streak.. what a shame. But in all seriousness this episode is all about Dom and him finally having something good happen to his team.
