Happy Wednesday everyone! Hold on to your socks because this week, Spillin' Dis Tea is bringing back a very popular episode... Get ready for Disney vs Diversity: Part 2! Braden and Secora decided to dive deep into Disney character history and evaluate their use of queercoding villains and how that evolved to the queerbaited leading character we see today! Ever notice the queer subtext of films like Frozen and Luca? Or that Ursula's design is strikingly similar to a drag queen's? 29. Silenzio, Bruno!

Ciao Bellas! This week we venture over to the Pixar side of things and dive into the Italian Riviera as we review one of the newest and most talked about animated films of the year, Luca! Braden and Secora dive in on the plot, the amazing characters and cast, as well as their favourite tear jerker moments (and believe us, there were a LOT). Our Steep of the day challenges how Pixar has changed over the years and how well Disney fans are liking their new (and improved?) formula. This is about to be an exciting episode because the duo are diving in on Disney's newest live action remake and the maniacally, magnificent woman behind it, Cruella! During this episode, Braden and Secora thought it would be fun to take a look at the original film, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and dish on the different iterations of Cruella that Disney has given us, including the legendary Glen Close and talented Emma Stone. What a surprise! Spillin' Dis Tea is back to add another episode onto the DisTrinity series. Last time, the duo gave you everything you needed to know about Mickey Mouse but today, Goofy gets the spotlight. As one of Disney's most notable characters and a personal favourite of the two, it was more than necessary to give him the attention he deserves. In this episode, Braden and Secora go through Goofy's character timeline as well dishing on a movie franchise that lies close to their hearts, A Goofy Movie! What an exciting week because the duo are talking all things PIXAR. In this episode, Secora and Braden break down and share their own take on the infamous Pixar Theory. The theory suggests that every single Pixar movie exists within the same universe which means there is totally a possibility that Nemo and Mike Wazowski could be besties. This week on the podcast, Braden and Secora give their long and awaited review on Pixar's most recent success, Soul.
