Known as the modern-day James Herriot (though he's too modest to agree), Dr. Rummel brings a wealth of experience and fascinating stories from his career. A Penn State and University of Pennsylvania alum, he started at Cambro Veterinary Hospital in 1979 and later helped build a new hospital with seven veterinarians. A past president of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and a former Veterinarian of the Year, Dr. Rummel is also known for his community involvement and a pet health series on pet grieving.
