Thanks to Michael Freitas (UTSA Basketball) for joining us on the show this week as a guest host to talk about everything across the sports world over the past week!
On this week's episode we break down the final week of the Paris Olympics as they have finally concluded! The USA took home the most overall medals & tied China for most golds. We discuss how Steph Curry put on a SHOW in both the semifinals and Gold Medal Game for Team USA Basketball, hitting 17 three's in two games to secure the USA's 6th gold medal in 7 Olympics. Lebron was named MVP and KD became the all-leading scorer in Olympic basketball history.
We also dive into a number of topics in the NFL and College Football, including our very own Dallas Cowboys, who have STILL refused to give ANY of their stars contract extensions. Ceedee Lamb, Dak Prescott, and Micah Parsons are all still waiting on Jerry Jones to head to the bank! Meanwhile Joe Burrow is looking for a bounce back season in Cincinnati, while DeShaun Watson is hoping to just stay healthy for a full season (a massage might help!)
We also talk some Michigan football, and we include our weekly segments including "WNBA or Not" and "News or Fake News." Thanks to Michael for joining us on the show this week. If you are a friend or family member of Michael please support the show with a subscribe!!
