Episode notes
Episode 9 of SJSO Unlocked features the St. County Sheriff's Office Task Force Unit.
Their work includes pro-active crime suppression in St. Johns County, street level narcotics enforcement, fugitive investigations, and interstate 95 narcotics and human trafficking interdiction.
The Task Force is comprised of highly-skilled deputies and two K9 teams who specialize in targeting crime trends and supplementing patrol deputies during incidents requiring additional expertise.
Sheriff Rob Hardwick, Lieutenant Sid Mickler, and Sergeant Bobby Kukar join Public Information Officer Taylor Levesque in the studio for a discussion about the unit's mission and daily operations, and partnerships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
