A massive 7.4-acre sinkhole in Pondok Balik, Indonesia, is rapidly expanding, threatening farmland, homes, and critical infrastructure like electricity poles. The sinkhole, which has been growing for over two decades, is exacerbated by saturated volcanic rock and intense rainfall. Authorities are attempting to stabilise the area by injecting grout into underground cavities and redirecting water flow.
