Episode notes
In this episode of SID3 QU3ST, the narrator returns to chronicle yet another round of chaos, emotional whiplash, and questionable life choices from the four questers. Chris begins the saga by restarting Spider‑Man 2 yet again, watching Brand New Day, and otherwise living in a loop of “same old shit,” a phrase the narrator insists historians will one day carve into stone.
Ramon continues being the suspiciously stable one — spending time with family, checking on his grandmother, succeeding in therapy, and even getting new shoes. His wholesomeness confuses the narrator deeply. Vico celebrates his car finally being fixed, says goodbye to out‑of‑state friends, meets new ones, and also watches Brand New Day, proving that Spider‑Man consumption is apparently mandatory for the group.
Tyler, meanwhile, remains the Chaos Variable: dealing with absurd amounts of lube at work, listening to “I Got the High Ground” on repeat purely out of spite, reading a horrifying group‑chat story about naked creek‑dwelling men with suction‑cup feet, and turning 25 — a milestone the narrator describes as “a quarter century of chaos.”
The crew moves into small talk without Vico, who couldn’t make the recording due to work. Ramon updates everyone on therapy, family time, and switching phone carriers. Chris vents about headaches, tea, and his Spider‑Man theater hunt. Tyler closes out with updates on editing, sleepless nights, breakpack nightmares, and the ongoing frustration of waiting for progress on his lofted home.EP.13 is chaotic, hilarious, heartfelt, and deeply unhinged — a perfect continuation of the SideQuest saga, guided by a narrator who is clearly losing patience with all four of you.
