Subtle Victim Blaming

Domestic Violence victims are often scrutinized as to what they might have done to cause the violence committed against them. The scrutiny should befall violence itself — we must speak out against those who choose to use violence as a means to an end. Let’s make a conscious effort to be careful with our words to not shame the victims of domestic violence by rethinking our words and social media comments.
