Episode notes

The first 2022 SharpEngine episode has arrived! Sharp couldn't make it for this one but instead we have another Peach main whose tag begins with a voiceless postalveolar fricative, Team Phoenix's very own Shais! We take a classic deep dive, turning the magnifying glass to Shais' time in Smash, from running university events with his friends to becoming one of the most important TOs and streamers in European Melee.

Thank you so much to Shais for giving me his time, as well as to Kyran, Humzah, CptNebula, Gou, Scout and Jaysotee who I approached in my research for the interview. It was great to be able to get a fleshed out view of what I wanted to talk about in the interview and you were all extremely helpful in making that possible.

As mentioned in the episode, information for contacting the UK Melee Player Safety Panel can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dd6wWd4GJEnGplCrEN7kgLFWRqi7jCvqELsM5l0TBp4/edit

We also have a new SharpEngine feedback form if you want to give us your thoughts/opinions/ideas for what you'd like to see on the show: https://forms.gle/EJbpXSBKYJtZaNSj9

Still feel free to message us directly if you prefer to let us know that way.
