#TRBteamstandup Hello all, welcome to the final episode of season 1 of my podcast! I appreciate anyone who's stuck around this long and followed me along my journey in podcasting. This episode is all about my current work, "The Fish & The Raccoon" alongside it's substory(?), "Call Me By Your Name!" It's a story that stray's from the original quite a lot that was written for my ENGL&236 class at GRC, and it's influenced a bunch of changes/retcons that'll be done onto the original chapter 1 for "The Fish & The Raccoon." I really hope that this episode is interesting/entertaining, as I had a lot of fun recording it! I did this on my 2nd or 3rd take, which is pretty impressive for me, as last time I had to record a solo episode I struggled greatly with my confidence. Episode that has a wide array/range of topics, and is basically a continuous discussion for nearly an hour. Editing is minimal to have the conversation feel more natural in a way, if that makes sense. I hope you enjoy it! Pre-recorded gameplay/discussion of me and my friends talking about, well, whatever came to mind in the moment. We originally had a structured discussion but we felt it came off as too robotic and didn't capture the fact that we don't even pay taxes yet. Also this isn't actually mentioned in the episode, but I did a chapter of The Fish & The Raccoon, which isn't Chapter 2, but is a bit further into the story for the sake of getting an idea of what's going to happen within the story. My very first interview episode with Siveling Sorm, and we talk about how writing and mental health can sometimes overlap, alongside the important of writing & reading in relation to mental health. Weird story that happened during my creative writing process when trying to research for one of my stories, where I realized that love isn't the artificial and planned thing I made it out to be in my writing, and how this changed the way I write as a whole, specifically in terms of story progression and character development. Also a short segment towards the latter half of the episode regarding the story, "Swirling Skies" that I mentioned in my Instagram post teasing episode 2. Potentially will be redone/rerecorded in the future when I have the time to do so.
