Season 4 Premiere

The host returns for the long-awaited Season 4 premiere, immediately apologizing for the extended break from the podcast, "The Life of a Young, Struggling Schizophrenic." They assure listeners they are alive and "fairly well," noting that while life isn't "all prancing and dancing," nothing is too concerning, though they joke that the voices were urging them to hurry up and continue the show. The core of the episode centers on a strange incident involving the host's daily journal. They recount typing out a significant passage but hesitate when attempting to write a specific word that had come to mind—a word they had learned growing up, which they felt had a deep, non-immediate meaning. They substituted the word with a self-created sign for "Selah" (a pause or reflection) in their notes. When looking up a Bible verse (which they realize is in Psalms 9:16 after initially searching for "David"), the host copies the verse elsewhere. Upon returning to their journal, they discover that most of the new entry has vanished, leaving only five lines. This inexplicable deletion felt like a sign, perhaps suggesting they shouldn't have used the word or made the note at all. The host concludes with a focus on their creative enterprise, Schizo Studios. They announce that a new artist, Astroenergies (a part of Schizo Studios), has released new material. They explain that the studio is intended to be a community for neurodivergent individuals or those with a diagnosed mental health issue that alters their perspective. The goal is to provide a platform to "show the world what you see" and use the process as self-talk therapy. They mention that they are looking for others to join the studio to gain power in numbers and to split costs (like for their upcoming website). Listeners are encouraged to check out the studio's website at www.schizostudios.org and to stay tuned for an update on the next Archangel from the fire archangel Oracle.
