    Satsang Podcast - Logan Rex

Today on the Satsang Podcast we have lead singer of Artikal Sound System and vinyl encyclopedia Logan Rex. We talk about touring in a predominantly male industry, her songwriting process, the ups and downs of building a band, how their band started, and do some deep dives on some of our favorite records. I was in awe of how deep Logan’s musical taste and knowledge goes. She is also a Desmond Dekker fan, which automatically makes us homies. • Satsang Podcast - Mike Love

    Satsang Podcast - Mike Love

Today on the podcast we have one of the most talented musicians of our generation, although he would disagree. Mike Love is one of the most special musicians I have met. Sweet, humble, kind, and one of those rare people that when you see live… makes your jaw hit and stay on the floor. His lyrics are deep, thoughtful and important… and his playing (live or with a band) is a level of musicianship we only get to see once in a lifetime. It was my honor to get to drop in with Mike as he has known Satsang in all its iterations since its inception and some of our similarities are eerily similar. The Satsang Podcast is brought to you by the fine folks at Onnit. Are you over caffeinating every morning thinking it is helping you focus? Neurologically speaking… it isn't. Try the new Alpha Brain Black Label! Packed full of 3rd party tested ingredients to help your brain be as sharp as a sword… and just a touch of caffeine to pick you up. • Satsang Podcast - Justin Levy (Conscious Alliance)

Satsang Podcast - Justin Levy (Conscious Alliance)

Today on the podcast I have Justin Levy, Executive Director for Conscious Alliance. I have known about Conscious Alliance since their earliest days. I would see them doing poster giveaways in exchange for canned food at shows I was attending growing up. Once I dove into their mission and how they supported those in need I was blown away. The work they do at Pine Ridge in particular is so moving to me. The idea of pairing music and music fans with helping people in need has always been the ethos of Satsang. Those same principles are the very foundation of Conscious Alliance and I could not be more honored to be working with them. To celebrate the premiere of the new single we have dedicated a page on our website to Conscious Alliance. There you will find the first listen video for “Alone With You” as well as information on Conscious Alliance and their mission. You can can also enter to win a Satsang / Conscious Alliance prize pack as well as learn how to get involved with Conscious Alliance.
