It's time to climb high and reunite with some old friends, enemies, and acquaintances. We meet plenty of new Pokemon for the anime as well and learn the mechanics of Wobbuffet's counterattack with a very bizarre response. We also witness another evolution in the anime. But wait, we also get one in the Manga as Gold gets tricked into some battling by the old woman at the Pokemon day care. We also get a few more hints as to who this Jasmine character beyond the Manga.

Then, with the Christmas tale out of the way we return to the main storyline...only...why are we in Vermillion? And where's Violet? Did Shea Locke switch focus on you all again!? Annoying. We'll have to have a little chat about that.
