Rivaled Takes Podcast
Season 1
Wildcard Weekend
by James Baldwin and Josh Barnett
Today we discuss Miami vs. Ole Miss and our predictions for Indiana Oregon. This is followed by our insight on the upcoming NFL playoff games, and who we think will win. We then discuss the best NFL announcers and finish off with our newest segment: Defend the indefensible!
In this episode, we try to hit multiple corner of the sports world. We break down which NFL job opening is truly the most attractive and which coaching candidates actually make sense. We dive into Ty Simpson’s draft declaration, debate what Dante Moore should do next, and run through a fresh batch of “Is This an Overreaction?” featuring the Packers’ cursed 7‑seed streak, Edward Cabrera to the Cubs, and whether Mendoza is a future NFL star. Plus, we touch on Michigan’s path to a CBB national title and why Todd Bowles’ seat might be hotter than ever.
