Reviving a 20-Year Old Home: From Drab to Fab
Season 1
Segment Two: Lighting the Way
by Trena Connaughton
Lighting plays a crucial role in defining a room's ambiance and highlighting design features. In our project, vintage lighting was used to add charm and character, complementing the bold patterns and wall murals that set each space apart.
Every transformation begins with setting the right tone. Start by choosing a color palette and thinking about the overall feel you want your home to have. For this project, we selected a mix of warm and cool tones to create a balanced atmosphere throughout the house. This palette not only ties the spaces together but also allows for bold accents that make each room stand out.
