Judges 2 The test of faith is to live in a dark world and remain a faithful light.

Since Israel was not going to drive out the land, God resigned to leave the people and false God’s of the land as a test. Israel largely failed. Today, we too live in a wicked world but now we have received the grace of forgiveness and of power in the Holy Spirit. With this grace and power we now are to live in a wicked world and shine bright and lead people out of darkness to the light.
