Episode notes
There are seasons when prayer feels like speaking into an empty room and God seems far away. If you've ever experienced spiritual dryness or wondered where God is, Psalm 42 speaks directly to your heart.
Using the image of a deer desperately longing for water, the psalmist honestly expresses his deep thirst for God. Yet even in sorrow and longing, he points himself—and us—to the One who alone can satisfy our souls.
Discover how God meets us in our spiritual thirst and renews our hope.
