/ / EASTER SUNDAY / / 2024

Pastor AB After Jesus' crucifixion, the disciples were devastated, fearful, and desperate. Their leader had been brutally executed—what would become of them and the movement? They were desperate for answers, desperate for hope. And then... they found an empty tomb...and Jesus showed up. Despair can lead to desperation, but desperation can also lead to life. The disciples' fear and desperation on Easter morning remind us that even in our darkest moments, there is still hope! Jesus' resurrection is evidence of God's power to overcome death itself. It's a reminder that no matter how desperate our circumstances may seem, God is still at work pursuing us. Desperation ~ Pursuing The Pursuer. GET THE APP This is a great resource for you on the go. / / GOOD FRIDAY / / 2024

Pastor Carl On Good Friday, we remember the ultimate act of love and sacrifice. Jesus, the one who was hailed as king just days earlier, was betrayed, arrested, and sentenced to die a criminal’s death on a cross. As Jesus hung on the cross, the weight of the world’s sin on His shoulders, His followers faced despair and confusion. The promised Messiah seemed defeated, and hope felt lost… Good Friday reminds us that in even in our darkest moments, God is at work. Through Jesus’ death, we find forgiveness, redemption, and the promise of new life. #therestisyettocome #goodfriday GET THE APP This is a great resource for you on the go. 🌿 PALM SUNDAY 🌿 Desperation: Pursuing The Pursuer

On Palm Sunday, people welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem, desperate for a savior. They believed He would deliver them from oppression all around. And as the events of the week unfolded and Jesus was tried, convicted, beaten and crucified...life didn't play out how His followers thought it would and despair crept in... Despair can lead to desperation, and in those moments when we have no one else to turn to, and no where else to go we face a choice: RUN TO GOD or RUN AWAY from Him. When you feel like you've reached the bottom and it's just you and Jesus. What will you do? What will you pursue? God might not remove the obstacles in front of you, but He will be with you, making a way through them. GET THE APP This is a great resource for you on the go. Travel Light (pt.2) Simeon Sees Salvation

Pastor Cody "25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout [carefully observing the divine Law], and looking for the Consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). 27 Prompted by the Spirit, he came into the temple [enclosure]; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for Him the custom required by the Law, 28 Simeon took Him into his arms, and blessed and praised and thanked God, and said, 29 “Now, Lord, You are releasing Your bond-servant to leave [this world] in peace, According to Your word; 30 For my eyes have seen Your Salvation, 31 Which You have prepared in the presence of all peoples, 32 A Light for revelation to the Gentiles [to disclose what was previously unknown], And [to bring] the praise and honor and glory of Your people Israel.” 33 And His [legal] father and His mother were amazed at what was said about Him. 34 Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, “Listen carefully: this Child is appointed and destined for the fall and rise of many in Israel, and for a sign that is to be opposed— 35 and a sword [of deep sorrow] will pierce through your own soul—so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” ~ Luke 2:25-35 ESV "6 One hand full of rest and patience is better than two fists full of labor and chasing after the wind." ~ Ecclesiastes 4:6 AMP In a crowded, busy holiday season, it’s easy for people to feel weighed down by family relationships, financial pressure, regret, or failures. Sometimes it’s not as simple as going from point A to point B walking with God when your burdened by stress and distracted by obligations. This short 2-week series will help us see that the weight we feel sometimes comes from things that God never asked us to carry. Lucky for us His solution is simple: Let go of the baggage and travel light. #PresenceOverPresents GET THE APP This is a great resource for you on the go. Travel Light (pt.1) Mary's Song

Pastor AB "46 And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, 47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior." ~ Luke 1:46-56 ESV " "6 One hand full of rest and patience is better than two fists full of labor and chasing after the wind." ~ Ecclesiastes 4:6 AMP In a crowded, busy holiday season, it’s easy for people to feel weighed down by family relationships, financial pressure, regret, or failures. / / FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT / / WALK CLOSER

Student Pastor ~ Isaac / / FOS / / WALK CLOSER, NOT WORK HARDER "16But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, 21envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do[e] such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 24And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another."
