Season 1
by Pastor John
In "Every Word Matters," the sermon draws from Matthew 4:1-4, emphasizing that every word that comes from the mouth of God matters. It highlights God's Word as the "bread of life" and the remedy for spiritual attacks. Drawing on Jesus' example of resisting temptation by stating, "It is written", the sermon teaches believers to respond to the accuser with the clarity and authority of scripture. Immersion in God's Word empowers us to withstand the enemy's deceptions and declare them to "Be gone".
This sermon asks a vital question: "Are You Kingdom Motivated?". Amidst global conflicts and personal struggles, the message emphasizes that governments often cannot solve our problems, nor can human opinions lead to peace if motivations are misaligned. Instead, a kingdom-motivated individual points to Jesus as the ultimate solution and brings heavy burdens to Him in prayer. Drawing from Matthew 4-5 and Jeremiah 29:13, the sermon highlights Jesus's kingdom-driven ministry and calls believers to be the "salt of the earth" and "light of the world," embodying peace and seeking God with all their heart.
