Narene Crosby, an advocate for her son Ryan who was wrongfully killed in 2013 joins forces with another grieving mother to write 'Mothers in Arms'. It is a nonfiction book featuring two Kansas City mothers, a white and black mother, who come together as friends in a David-vs-Goliath battle to redeem their slain sons, both innocents, unarmed, and shot in the back. Mothers in Arms, tackles difficult issues, but it's also uplifting and promises hope.
