Who are You Really? Dropping the Inner Critic

Keep focus on the Bigger Question: Who am I really? Am I really just this little human character running around the planet - born, work, relationships, grasping, stressing, die? As long as you believe you are only this small character, you will constantly push and strive and compare. We have brainwashed ourselves well. The Inner Critic may well become softer, more loving, less harsh, but good cop, bad cop will continue to run the show. Or am I something more? Eternal, conscious, playful What if you can pop out of this delusion and see that you are eternal, aware, mysterious. Simply playing a part, taking a little peek at being this human being. So much relaxes, so much becomes impossible to believe or get stressed about.

How to Choose the Best Reiki Teacher for You

The Essence of Reiki is the connection of your own personal life energy with the greater Universal life force. When you learn Reiki, the teacher or learning method is secondary to this primary connection. If you are totally new to Reiki and energy work, it makes sense you would want more guidance and a teacher who can provide support, tips, practice, and reassurance. In this case, a face to face class with teacher interaction and post-class support makes the most sense. If you are already experienced with energy work, or trust your own intuition, it makes sense you would want more freedom to explore your connection based on your own philosophy and wisdom. In this case the teacher is secondary, you could easily do it online, or via self-attunement. There is no “right” technology or way to do Reiki. There is only your personal relationship with Reiki and how it best works for you. Trust your intuition, your inner wisdom and be open to experiment and be playful. The Future and Expansion of Reiki Teaching

Reiki Education has changed enormously over the years. From the 1980-90s oral tradition of hierarchy, teacher-student, strict levels and pricing, secrecy and rules. To the 2000's new Japanese lineages, historical insights, new tools. To the post covid online expansion and proliferation of schools, courses. As a Reiki teacher this can feel threatening, difficult, like Reiki is being diluted or destroyed. Or it can be embraced as the expansion of Reiki learning, accessibility of knowledge, growth of Reiki community and acceptance. The more people who learn Reiki, the more Reiki there is in the world. If you are a Teacher feeling threatened, frustrated, angry at the state of Reiki today, ask yourself: What is my wish for Reiki, and for people? Do I wish Reiki to be available to more people? Do I wish more people to be connected with their self-healing abilities? Do I wish for a world were Reiki is a household name? If you answer YES to these questions, then ask yourself: How do I want to express Reiki that feels ethical and right for me? Can I find my own unique place in the world of Reiki teaching and trust the right students will find me? Is there more I can be doing given the technology, tools and information now available? And allow all Reiki teachers to find their own place, and there right students. Be grateful for the expansion of Reiki, and the will of Reiki to grow energetically in its own way. Be grateful to all Reiki teachers everywhere and their contribution to the growth of Reiki and the connection of more and more people to their Universal life flow. Getting to the Deep Root Cause (Stop Circling and Triggering Over and Over)

A deep dive into the anatomy of deep healing. Often when we trigger we blame the messenger instead of looking at the wound that triggered the reaction in the first place. So the wound remains and we trigger over and over.
