The monologue of Mamdouh, a 70 year old, retired teacher living in a small town close to Homs in Syria. He is on the phone with his daughter who is a Syrian refugee in Germany. He is asking his daughter to let him speak to his wife who stopped talking with him after she became a refugee in Germany.
