Directed by: Brittney Anderson Featuring: Hannah Moore, Sarah Bastian, Jackie Marino-Thomas Welcome to the opening monologue presented by the organizers of the Refugee Monologues Project. The organizers want you to understand that refugee stories are complicated and are not just written by refugees but also those they left behind. While the opening stories are related to the war in Syria between 2011 and 2019, refugees come from all parts of the world and experience the same feelings of hope, loss, nostalgia, longing, and inspiration.
